After dialling the number you will hear automated voice instructions to complete your recertification process. Follow the instructions and enter the details when prompted.
You will receive confirmation after completing the recertification process.
3. Re-Certify Online Through The Assurance Wireless
To re-certify your Assurance Wireless account online you can visit the Assurance Wireless website, enter your phone number log in to your account.
After logging in to your account, follow the instructions to complete your recertification process. You can click on “Recertify Status” on the web portal and fill out the form online.
Enter the last 9 digits of your PIN that you received in the mail and submit the form.
Once the process is complete, it will be verified and approved by the Assurance Wireless Lifeline program. You will receive confirmation upon approval.
When you receive the mail for recertification, you will also be given a deadline to complete the form and submit it for recertification within the deadline.
The deadline is usually 90 days from the date of the notification mail you received. If you do not apply for recertification within the deadline, you will be disqualified from the Lifeline program.
