TicketMaster is one of the most popular ticketing platforms in the world, but sometimes, things don’t go as planned.
One common issue with TicketMaster is that many users have experienced is having their seats changed or downgraded without any prior notice or explanation.
There could be several reasons why TicketMaster changes the seats without any official notice over mail.
Why TicketMaster Changed (Downgraded) My Seats?
Sometimes, the event organizer may decide to change the seating arrangements for the event, and this results in some users having their seats changed or downgraded.
Or it could be a technical issue or poor ticket assignment from TicketMaster or the organizer side, where the wrong seats were assigned to customers at time of initial purchase.
Later on, they try to manage the seats and make changes to the seats positions for some users if same seats have been assigned many times to different bookings.
Lot of users share the email confirmation by Ticketmaster over social media that they recently had informed about changing/downgrading their seats with message: “Due to a production change …… needs to move you to a new spot at your upcoming event and hope you will like seat just as much!”
Also there are high chances that due to some unexpected reasons, some physical seats presence have been changed on venue and organizer needs to re-assign the seats to users.
Also many times, Ticketmaster seat change or downgrade is done due to low ticket sales for the event. It’s not uncommon for event organizers to close some upper sections of the venue if ticket sales are not meeting their expectations.
What To Do If TicketMaster Changed (Downgraded) Seats?
