How to Change Visible Wireless Phone Number

You can change your current Visible Wireless phone number by either reaching out to the Visible Wireless customer service team, or by porting in your previous network’s phone number.

Which method to take depends on the status of your Visible Wireless membership.

This means that depending on whether or not you already have a mobile device number on Visible Wireless, the way you change your Visible Wireless phone number will also change.

The mobile device number is given to Visible Wireless users once they are signed up and registered on the network.

Here are the two ways in which you can change your Visible Wireless phone number:

1. Using Existing Visible Wireless Members with Mobile Device Number

If you are an existing Visible Wireless member and have a pre-existing mobile device number as well, then you will have to reach out to the Visible Wireless customer service team to change your Visible Wireless phone number.

The mobile device number is the pre-existing phone number that you have registered on the Visible Wireless network.

As such, since you are already registered on Visible Wireless with a mobile device number already, you will have to reach out to the customer service team.

You can contact the customer service team by visiting their Contact Us page, which lists all the different ways in which you can get in touch with them.

There are many ways in which you can contact the Visible Wireless customer service team, such as connecting via chat, through the Visible mobile app, tagging them on Twitter, or texting them via Facebook Messenger on @VisibleMobile.

You must inform them of your wish to change your phone number, and they will work to provide their assistance and fulfill your request accordingly.

2. Using New Visible Wireless Members with No Mobile Device Number

If you are planning to sign up to register yourself on the Visible Wireless network and have not yet received your mobile device number, you can either port in your old phone number from your previous mobile network carrier or select a new number when you sign up on Visible Wireless.

When you sign up for an account to register yourself on the Visible Wireless network, you will have the choice to select your new mobile device number.

This new mobile device number that you select will then become your new phone number once you finish the process of switching over to the Visible Wireless network.

If you wish to port in the old phone number from your previous mobile network carrier, you will have to undergo the porting process.

To do this, first you will have to check that the account on your previous mobile network carrier is active, and that it is eligible for a port in to Visible Wireless.

You can check the portability of your phone number by visiting the Switch to Visible page and entering your old phone number.

Once that is confirmed, follow your old mobile network carrier’s directions to request your port out PIN and carry out the port out process accordingly.

Make sure that you have noted down important information about the phone number and mobile network like the following list:

  • The phone number you want to keep
  • Account number
  • PIN
  • Service ZIP code

Knowing these details and keeping them in handy will help your switch be as seamless and easy as possible.
