Ticketmaster allows you to resell the tickets for some events which you have already purchased but that is not the case everytime.
Many times it happens that you already purchased the tickets in advance butnow due to any reason you don’t want to attend the event and resell your tickets.
Ticketmaster allow you to resell the tickets in that case, depending upon the event, organiser policies and it depends event to event.
To Resell the tickets on Ticketmaster, follow below process:
- Log in to your Ticketmaster account and go to the “My Tickets” page.
- Locate the tickets you want to resell and select the “Sell” button next to them.
- Set the price you want to sell your tickets for and confirm the details of the sale.
- Agree to the terms and conditions and select “List Tickets for Sale.”
But sometime, resell option for tickets doesn’t seems available and users are not able to resell the tickets.
Below are the all possible reasons that you are not able to resell the already purchased tickets on Ticketmaster.
There are a few reasons why you may not be able to resell your tickets on Ticketmaster:
- The event may have a no-resale policy: Some events have policies in place that restricts the resale of tickets. If the event you have tickets for has a no-resale policy, you won’t be able to sell your tickets on Ticketmaster or any other platform.
- The tickets may be non-transferrable: Some tickets are non-transferrable, which means they can’t be transferred to another person. If your tickets are non-transferrable, you won’t be able to resell them on Ticketmaster or any other platform.
- The tickets may have been purchased with a discount or promotion: Ticketmaster may not allow tickets purchased with a discount or promotion to be resold. If your tickets were purchased with a discount or promotion, you may not be able to resell them on Ticketmaster.
- The tickets may have already been cancelled: If your tickets have been cancelled or voided for any reason, you won’t be able to resell them on Ticketmaster or any other platform.
If you’re unable to resell your tickets on Ticketmaster and you’re looking for alternative options, you may be able to sell them on a ticket resale or secondary market platform such as Stuhub.
However, it’s important to note that these platforms may have their own restrictions on the resale of tickets, so you’ll want to check their policies before attempting to sell your tickets.
Atlast it is also recommended to contact Ticketmaster support team to have more clarification if they have any option to help you from backend.
If already have purchased tickets in account and not seeing the resell option, then contact Ticketmaster support team by Login to account > Select the event > Click “Need Help With This Order” then follow the on-screen instructions.
Or submit the request form on Ticketmaster site by Selecting the topics, event name, menu, event date, First Name, Last Name, Email address, subject, billing address, phone number, Last four digits of purchase card, Order Confirmation Number and attachment if anything you have handy with you to share.
