How do Sign Up on Harpy Chat AI?

To sign up and get started on the platform, follow the steps given below:

1. Visit Harpy.chat.
2. Click on the Register button in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your email and password that you wish to use on the platform.
4. As an alternative, you can use your Google, Twitter, or Discord profiles to sign up as well.
5. This will take you to the My Profile page.
6. Enter your information accordingly. Note that your username is permanent and cannot be changed later on.
7. Click on Update Profile.

This will create your account and take you to Harpy Chat AI’s home page.

How to set up an API on Harpy Chat?

If you are unable to chat with a character even after setting up your account, it could be because you have not set up an API on Harpy Chat AI.

Harpy Chat AI supports Harpy AI and API by OpenAI and Kobold AI.

Everyone can use Harpy AI model that is free and there is no limitations.

You can use Harpy AI free of cost without any limitation but for any reason if you want to use other APIs you can use those also.

If you want to use OpenAI API then You will first need an API key, which you can get from OpenAI.

1. Visit www.platform.openai.com.
2. Log into your OpenAI account.
3. Click on your Profile at the top right corner of the screen.
4. Click on View API keys.
5. Generate your API key.

Once you have generated your API key, follow the steps below to use it for Harpy Chat AI:

1. Start a Chat with a character of your choice.
2. Click on the API not ready! Click to setup prompt in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your OpenAI Key into the given field.
4. Click on Check API Key.
5. Once validated, you can proceed.
6. Click on Save Settings.

You can now proceed to chat with characters on the platform!

How to Chat on Harpy Chat AI?

Once you have created your profile, you are free to chat with the various characters available on the site.

1. Browse through the different characters on the most popular page, or use the other tabs to find the character you like.
2. You can also use the Search function to look up specific characters.
3. Click on the Character. This will take you to the character’s page.
4. On the left side of the screen, you will be able to see the Tags associated with the character and their Avatar.
5. Click on the Chat with (character) button underneath their Avatar.

You will then be able to chat with the selected character.

How to Create a Character on Harpy Chat AI?

One of the best things about Harpy Chat AI is that you can create your very own characters to chat with very easily!

Here is how:

1. Go to the Harpy Chat AI Homepage.
2. Click on Create Character at the top right corner of the page.
3. Fill out all the fields as you see fit.
4. Upload an Avatar for your character to give them a visual representation.
5. Select the relevant Tags for your character.
6. Decide whether to keep the Character bot public or private and whether it will be SFW or NSFW.
7. Once completed, click on the Create character button.

Your character will then be ready to chat with. If your character is set to Public, note that other users will also be able to chat with your character.
