1. Check Weather Your Post Is Under Threads Limit

Threads limit for a post is 500 words per Thread/ 10 images/ 5 minute video.

If you are wondering why you aren’t able to create a thread with 600 words or 12 pictures or a 10 minute video. You can’t create one thread with it. 

Threads will not allow you to select more than 10 images.

You can still post it but it will be automatically posted as 2 Threads post. 

2. Check Your Internet Connection

If your internet connection is not stable or poor, this might result in failure while uploading your Thread. Check if you have a stable internet connection or not. 

Check your internet speed.

Step 1: Search for ‘Internet Speed Test’

Step 2: Click ‘Run speed test’

Step 3: Wait until you get the result. It will take a minimum of 30 sec.

If your Internet speed is very low, try switching to another internet connection. This will speed up the process of uploading and creating your post.

3. Wait And Try Again

Thread is a very new app and there are lakhs and millions of people actively using it. Sometimes, the app might face server issues due to Data traffic. 

So, wait a few minutes. And try uploading your post again. This might help if the issue is to network traffic.

4. Make Sure Your Post Doesn’t Violate ‘Threats Privacy Principle’

Check Threats privacy policy to know whether you violated them. 

Violation of privacy policy can lead to removal of your posts. And they can also temporarily lock your account.

5. Check Whether Your Instagram Account Is Deactivated Or Locked

If your Instagram account is locked, you will not be able to post on both Instagram and Threads. 

If your Instagram account is deactivated, your Threads account will also be deactivated within 90 days.

To activate your Instagram account,

Step 1: Instal Instagram app. If you already have Instagram on your mobile, go to step 2 directly.

Step 2: Login with your username and password.

Simple logging back can reactivate your account.

If your account is temporarily locked, It will be removed between 24 to 48 hours. Wait until the temporary lock period ends or else contact the Instagram help center.
