How to Turn OFF Activation Lock on Apple Vision Pro?
Method 1: Turn Off Activation Lock Directly on Your Vision Pro
- Open the Settings app on your Vision Pro.
- Tap on your name at the top of the settings menu to access your Apple ID settings.
- Select Find My.
- Toggle off Find My Vision Pro. You might be asked to enter your Apple ID password to confirm this action.
Method 2: Sign Out of Your Apple ID on Your Vision Pro
If you prefer to sign out of your Apple ID, which also turns off Activation Lock:
- Navigate to Settings > [Your Name].
- Scroll down and tap Sign Out.
- Enter your Apple ID password when prompted to disable Activation Lock.
Method 3: Turn Off Activation Lock Remotely via iCloud
In the event that you no longer have physical access to your Vision Pro, you can still disable Activation Lock remotely:
- Visit iCloud.com/find on a web browser.
- Sign in with your Apple ID, email address, or phone number.

Before Parting with Your Apple Vision Pro
Before selling, giving away, or trading in your Apple Vision Pro, after turning off Activation Lock, you should also erase all content and settings to protect your personal information.
This can be done by going to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. This action will not only remove all of your data from the device but will also ensure that Activation Lock is not enabled when the device is set up anew.
