Are you tired of the bright white interface on your Apple Vision Pro? Do you find it hard on your eyes, especially during nighttime use?
If so, you may want to consider enabling dark mode on your device.
In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of enabling dark mode on your Apple Vision Pro.
How to enable dark mode in Apple Vision Pro?
As of the current information available, the Apple Vision Pro headset does not offer a built-in dark mode feature for its user interface or individual apps like Safari.
However, users can set the overall environment to dark or light according to their preferences.
This setting adjusts the ambiance of the virtual environment rather than the specific interface of apps within the Vision Pro system.
To change the environment appearance on your Apple Vision Pro:
- Enter the Home View: Start by pressing the Digital Crown on your Apple Vision Pro to go to the Home View. This is your starting point for customizing various aspects of your headset experience.
- Locate ‘Environments’: Look for the ‘Environments‘ option within the Home View. It should be visible in the tab bar, which is a part of the user interface that allows you to navigate between different views and settings.
- Tap on ‘Environments’: Once you’ve found the ‘Environments‘ option, tap on it to access the various environmental settings that are available for your headset.
- Explore the Options: You will be presented with a selection of different environments that you can choose from. These environments are essentially different themes that can alter the visual aesthetic of your virtual space.
- Select a Darker Option: Among the available environments, look for options that imply a darker setting. This could be something like ‘Evening Ambiance‘, ‘Night Sky‘, or any other environment that suggests a darker or more muted tone.
- Activate the Darker Environment: After you’ve made your selection, tap on the darker environment of your choice.
- The Apple Vision Pro will then transition to this environment, changing the overall visual theme to one that is darker and easier on the eyes in low-light conditions.
